Are Dive Hyperbaric Chambers an American product?
The Shallow Dive, Grand Dive, and Vertical Grand Dives are currently made in France and Assembled in the United States; The Dive 28" model is Made in the USA.

How long have these chambers been manufactured?
These chambers have been manufactured in France for more than 20 years.

Does this chamber include an oxygen concentrator?
No, this is a hyperbaric chamber which includes the compressor, valves, and medical grade hoses necessary for hyperbaric treatment. Oxygen concentrator may be purchased seperately.

What is an Oxygen Concentrator?
An oxygen concentrator is a machine that strips nitrogen from the air and concentrates the oxygen. Normal ambient air is about 78% Nitrogen and 21% oxygen (O2); the other 1% consisting of trace gases like carbon dioxide, helium, argon, etc. Because of this dynamic, by removing the nitrogen from the air, it is possible to concentrate oxygen as much as 97%. Oxygen concentrators use a simple adsorption process using a common media known as zeolite. In simplest terms, as air passes through an oxygen concentrator the nitrogen gets temporarily stuck or adsorbed by the zeolite and the oxygen passes through; concentrating the oxygen.

Does it come with a pressure gauge?
Yes, there is an external pressure gauge included.

Does the chamber have auxiliary valves?
Yes.

Does it come with an internal frame?
Yes, we include a frame with every chamber purchase and all chamber rentals.

Does it include a mattress?
Yes, a contoured memory foam mattress is included at no additional cost for the DIVE and GRAND DIVE. In addition we provide an initial set of sheets for the internal mattress

How does your chamber compare with others on the market?
The dive hyperbaric chambers meet or exceed the specifications of other chambers on the market. These chambers utilize an airtight metal zipper, plus an external zipper which takes all of the pressure to provide a leak-free chamber. Unlike other chambers, the Dive Hyperbaric Chambers use a highly translucent material to provide a bright, airy environment inside. Further, these portable hyperbaric chambers boast a rigid triple layer window system. Two vinyl layers sandwich an acrylic layer provided unmatched strength and performance.

Can you get into the chamber by yourself?
Yes, although it is recommended you always have someone on the outside to assist you. As a safety precaution the chambers have been designed with dual trigger zippers. A person can easily depressurize the chamber and they can use the dual trigger zipper to open the chamber and then unbuckle the belts and walk out. Check out the Usage and Operations videos!

How loud is your motor?
All of the motors are very quiet. The only sound you hear is the air entering the chamber. Regardless of the size motor, there is no need for any additional sound suppression device.

Where does the urethane coated nylon come from?
This high quality material is imported from Germany.

Does your compressor require oil?
No, this is an oil-less compressor.

Will I get training on how to use my chamber?
Yes, In addition to the materials provided via the manufacturer, we also provide a step by step video series in which Greg Harris walks you through the initial set up, usage and operations, and even packing up the chamber (for rental purposes). Plus, we provide detailed instruction on how to integrate components such as an oxygen concentrator and air cooler. Last, we are available seven days a week to help you get set up and operational should you require any additional service.

What if I can’t use or don’t like the chamber?
We offer a 7-day return policy. If for any reason you want to return your chamber, we will give you a full refund, minus shipping costs if it is returned to us in its original condition. No re-stocking fees!

What kind of warranty do you offer?
We offer a one-year warranty for materials and workmanship. In addition to our standard one-year warranty that is included with each unit, we offer extended warranty programs that can extend the service and labor on your chamber up to an additional four years. That's right, should something ever happen to your portable hyperbaric chamber, you can be covered under our extended warranty program for up to five years total!
